Craig Snyder, the Founder and CEO of America Group Retirement Strategy Centers, early in his career led a large successful insurance and financial services organization, which also serviced credit unions for over two decades. In 2002, the industry landscape continued to change and Craig turned his focus to look for a broker dealer and platform where he could provide his clients and advisors with high quality, personalized financial advice as current brokerage models no longer looked to the future or aligned with his philosophy in keeping “clients first.”
Craig met with many top branch managers who represented multiple broker dealers across the United States in his search for a platform, leadership, and a broker dealer that would provide the strength in partnership, the best tools, resources, technology and objective research and advice for his clients. In January of 2003, he joined LPL Financial (then Linsco/Private Ledger) and his branch, with over 25 advisors, moved in a historic transition to become one of LPL’s largest enterprises.
Today, America Group Retirement Strategy Centers provides an open architecture of financial products and strategies available in the marketplace without the restrictions or conflicts of interests that still remain today with large brokerage firms and investment banks. Our advisors benefit from logistical support, lower start-up costs, shared overhead and other economies of scale.
When an independent advisor comes aboard, they have a local “Branch Team” of first responders dedicated to their needs, and a “360 Team” from LPL Financial who support their growth. In addition,America Group can provide a broad network of opportunities for advisors who wish to serve institutions and credit unions.
